The design process
From concept to reality, I design the piece with you, then work alongside expert jewellers to bring your vision to life.
We meet in person to discuss your ideas, vision, and budget. Whether for yourself or someone else, we’ll have a casual chat about likes, dislikes and we will gain a deeper understanding of the intention behind your piece.
Understanding your vision will be a big part of the process so bring along any image references you may have, personal preferences and ideas so that we can build a clear picture of what you want. Don’t worry if you’re not quite sure, WeI can also guide you by asking the right questions during this session.
Using all the information from our meeting, we’ll put together a selection of to-scale hand-drawn designs for you to review and provide feedback on. We will adapt and refine the design until you are happy that you have found the one. At this stage, we’ll also review stone options that we will carefully source to meet your budget and preferences.
Once the design and stones are approved we move on to the next step.
With the final design signed off, we work alongside the finest jewellers to bring your piece to life. Under my supervision with utmost attention to detail, your future heirloom is in good hands.
We’ll meet to handover your unique jewellery piece, presented in a beautiful gift box, ready to give to your loved one (or yourself).
As an additional momento, we also gift you the final hand drawn and inked sketch as a special keepsake.
